Recently, Tysim was awarded the third prize in the Hunan Provincial Electric Power Science and Technology Awards for its outstanding achievements in the research and application of a new power construction drilling rigs for mountainous terrain. This marks a significant recognition of Tysim's technological innovation and scientific achievements.
The research and development team of Tysim, faced with challenges in the power construction of borehole drilling, excavation, and grouting piles in various terrains such as flatlands, hills, and mountainous areas, has successfully developed power construction drilling rigs which are suitable for different terrains, especially complex mountainous regions. After years of deep research and experimentation, this series of rotary drilling rigs has made significant breakthroughs in efficiency, safety, and adaptability to different geological conditions. It has notably improved the speed and quality of power construction in mountainous areas. The model case of the 220 kV transmission line project of Huike in Changsha was successfully completed in August 2020, with only one unit Tysim power construction drilling rig, 53 pieces of piles in a total volume of 2600 cubic meters were completed in just 25 days, the efficiency was 40 times that of manpower. This marked a change from the traditional construction method which rely on manpower supplemented by machine. It is helpful to reduce costs, save time, improve efficiency, address the high safety risks associated with manual excavation in construction and lower the construction risk from Level 3 to Level 4.
The new power construction drilling rigs of Tysim undeniably provides a more practical and efficient construction solution, greatly advancing the progress of national power grid construction and upgrade projects in mountainous areas.
