Recently, Tyhen Foundation's low headroom KR300ES rotary drilling rig participated in the construction of the Guangzhou-Baiyun District Jingguang High-Speed Rail Line 5 project.
As the passenger transportation hub for Guangzhou's urban rail system, Baiyun Station is the first large-scale hub constructed in accordance with modern integrated transportation hub planning concepts in Guangzhou. The project primarily involves the construction of the new Guangzhou Baiyun Station, along with the development of related facilities such as the Dalang Bus Maintenance Depot and connecting railway lines. The project is scheduled for completion in 2023.
KR300ES Low headroom rotary drilling rig in the construction site of Guangzhou high-speed railway project pile diameter of 1000mm, pile depth between 28~33 meters, geological conditions are complex: mainly filling (mainly backfill formation, construction waste particles larger), silty clay, silt (3-6 meters, easy to collapse hole), gravel, strongly weathered siltstone, weathered siltstone. The upper backfill soil with sand bucket hole and then about 5 meters under the tube. After hitting the sand layer, the thick mud is adjusted to prevent water seepage. Enter the inclined rock, drill deep and then fish it out with the sand bucket. In case of slurry leakage in a small karst cave, that is backfill cement, and continue to drill after the cement solidifies. KR300ES Low headroom rotary drilling rig (height of 10.9 meters) construction height of 11 meters, equipped with 300 kN. The large torque power head of m allocates the appropriate mud ratio to protect the wall to solve the construction of quicksand formation and the powerful power to improve the construction efficiency of rock entry. It perfectly solves the problems encountered in small space, large pile diameter, deep depth and difficult rock. Construction fast and high efficiency customers make money, won the construction site personnel praise.
The KR300ES low headroom rotary drilling rig is used in the construction site of the Guangzhou high-speed rail project, where the pile diameter is 1000mm, and the pile depth ranges from 28 to 33 meters. The geological conditions are complex and include various factors such as miscellaneous fill soil (mainly backfilled layers with large construction waste particles), silty clay, silty sand (ranging from 3 to 6 meters, prone to collapse), rounded gravel layers, highly weathered silty sandstone, and moderately weathered silty sandstone. For the upper backfill soil, a sand-scooping bucket is used to create a casing around 5 meters below the surface.
After reaching the sand layer, thick mud slurry is used to prevent water infiltration. When encountering rock layers, a core barrel is used to penetrate, followed by the use of a sand-scooping bucket to remove the material. In case of small cavities or seepage, cement is injected, and drilling continues after the cement has solidified.
The KR300ES low headroom rotary drilling rig, with a height of 10.9 meters, operates at a construction height of 11 meters and is equipped with a powerful 300kN.m torque power head. It is used with an appropriate mud slurry ratio for wall protection, addressing the challenges of working in flowing sand formations and increasing construction efficiency when entering rock layers. This rig perfectly solves the issues encountered in construction, including limited space, large pile diameter, significant depth, and challenging rock penetration. Its high construction speed and efficiency have earned unanimous praise from the construction site personnel, ultimately benefiting the customer.
