During the meeting, Islam Zakhimov, the First Vice Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, held discussions with Zhao Lei, the Deputy Chief of Huishan District, Wuxi City. Both sides presented the achievements in mechanical engineering technology and construction materials and discussed the possibility of organizing mutual visits between the business communities of the two countries. Zhao Lei stated that Wuxi is strategically located at the intersection of the "Belt and Road Initiative," and Uzbekistan is an important partner in the construction of the initiative. Wuxi is comprehensively advancing the Chinese-style modernization in line with the guidance of President Xi Jinping, and Kazakhstan is constructing a thriving "New Kazakhstan." The cooperation between the two sides will usher in unprecedented opportunities and broader prospects.
